Trapped in a dysfunctional relationship, a woman seeks refuge on an island in the Northwest.
SYNOPSIS:
On the run from an abusive husband and a violent drug-ridden past, a beautiful woman (Riley) seeks refuge on an island in the Northwest. In debt to drug dealers, her husband (Frank) mysteriously disappears. Befriended by two local eccentrics, Riley begins a bittersweet journey toward a new life -- a journey interrupted by the appearance of the dealers. Determined to settle a score with Frank, they stalk Riley. Their presence provokes an unexpected turn of events and a shocking conclusion. This suspenseful film by writer/director Richard Evans breaks away from today's formulaic Hollywood screenplays to take a provocative, yet even-handed, look at drugs and domestic violence.
