Synanon (Columbia, 1964)
Actor, played the role of "Hopper" in the drug-rehab story directed by Richard Quine.

Peyton Place (20th Century Fox TV series, 1963-64)
Actor, co-starred in the continuing role of "Paul Hanley" opposite Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal, directed by Ted Post and Walter Doniger.

Dirty Little Billy (Columbia, 1972)
Actor, played the role of "Goldie" co-starring with Michael J. Pollard as Billy the Kid in Jack L. Warner's last movie, written and directed by Stan Dragoti.

The Eyes of a Child (1972)
Director, photographer, editor. Color, 35mm. Running time: 30 mins. Promotional film for the Delaware Museum of Natural History, Wilmington, DE. From a screenplay by Hesper Anderson (co-writer, Children of a Lesser God.)

Original-Do Not Project (1972)
Writer, producer, director, photographer, editor. Color & B/W 16mm. Running time: 55 mins. A prison for filmmakers offers facilities and funding for the inmates, but no release. Unfortunately, the film lived up to its premise.

The Nickel Ride (2oth Fox, 1975)
Actor, co-starred in the role of "Bobby" opposite Jason Miller in director Robert Mulligan's film noir drama.

Islands in the Stream (Paramount Pictures, 1976)
Actor, played the role of "Willie" in the Hemingway adventure starring George C. Scott, directed by Franklin Schaffner.

When Hell Was in Session (CBS Movie of the Week, 1982)
Actor, played the role of POW "Vargas" in the true story of U.S. Military prisoners in Vietnam, starring Hal Holbrook.

The Mystery of Howard Hangar (1985)
Writer, director, videographer. Produced by The Gallery Group. Color & B/W. Running time: 57 mins. A mocumentary tracing the history of aviation goofball Howard Hangar as he purchases the head of an enormous eagle left over from a Rose Parade float. Incorporates footage from some of the dopiest B movies of the 1940s.

Concurrent with his work as a filmmaker, Evans worked as an actor from 1957 to 1993, appearing in feature films and over 300 TV shows such as Gunsmoke, Lou Grant, Perry Mason, Star Trek, Bonanza, The Fugitive, The Mod Squad, How The West Was Won, and Peyton Place. During his long career, Evans had the good fortune to work with actors George C. Scott, David Hemmings, Lee J. Cobb, Jack Nicholson, Strother Martin, Michael J. Pollard, Elisha Cook, Jr., Slim Pickens, Lionel Stander, Corey Allen, Warren Oates, Mia Farrow, Barbara Hershey, Claire Bloom, Jean Seberg and Ida Lupino.
